- Developing RSVP-Enabled Firewalls
As RSVP becomes more widely deployed in the Internet, thought must be given to how users

paper gives an overview of RSVP and the issues with supporting it in a firewall product.
The following documentation and sample applications on using the WinSock2 QOS/ RSVP API
are included after installing RSVP:
- The RSVP API (RSVP Annex to WinSock2 API) is in the "Docs" subdirectory.
- The GQOS (Generic QoS) Developer's Guide in the "Docs" subdirectory
- Source files for sample applications using the PC-RSVP service provider and accompanying
documents are in "rsvpsamp" and "gqossamp" subdirectories.
- A Test application (MSVC 4.x MFC) to test RSVP functionality is in the
"TESTRSVP" subdirectory.
